  • Yes.  All plans include unlimited talk & text across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, plus 5GB of high-speed data in Canada & Mexico.  You must have Data Roaming turned on in your device settings for service to work. 

  • During times of network congestion, heavy data users (over 50GB per month) may experience reduced speeds. Video typically streams in standard definition (SD). See your plan details and our T&Cs for additional network and usage limitations including on hotspot data , international features (including Mexico and Canada), and international roaming in Canada or Mexico.

    • 30-day plan: Included automatically

  • Yes. You’ll need a Wi-Fi connection to complete setup.

  • You’ll still have unlimited 5G data. During times of network congestion, you may notice slower speeds compared to other customers.

  • U.S. Pass eSIM plans are available for purchase starting May 18, 2026, exclusively within the United States. Plans activate right after purchase, so we recommend buying on the day you are ready to use your service.

  • Yes. You can purchase another plan at any time. It will automatically start when your current plan ends.

  • You can purchase another plan at any time. Please visit the T-Mobile Prepaid eSIM App and follow the steps to add your plan. The new plan will begin when the original plan days are used.

  • No. These are one-time plans with no autorenewal. You’re always in control.

  • We accept domestic and international credit and debit cards from select countries.

  • No. There’s no paperwork or in-store visit required.

  • Yes! Once you activate your plan, you are eligible for the T-Life App and all the offers available to T-Mobile customers! This includes T-Mobile Tuesday Offers and Dining Experiences. Access to the T-Life app offers ends when your rate plan ends.

  • Each phone user may buy their own plan, or family members can use the hotspot from another’s plan to make Wi-Fi calls.

  • Contact Customer Care, 877-778-2106. Refunds are limited but there may be cases where we can cancel and refund the plan so you can repurchase it when you’re ready to use it.

  • After using 50GB of premium data—during times of network congestion—you may experience slower speeds due to prioritization. Speeds may also be slower due to network availability, including when using partner networks in Mexico and Canada.

  • No. You’ll always have access to data, though speeds may vary due to prioritization, network availability, and other factors.

  • You’ve likely used your high-speed hotspot allowance. You can continue using hotspot at reduced speeds.

  • Once a plan is active, refunds are limited. Contact Care for support.

  • Yes, if your device supports dual SIM. You can manage which line handles calls, texts, and data in your settings.

  • That depends on your home carrier. We recommend disabling roaming on your primary SIM to avoid charges.
